Learn about Chemical and Biological Engineering
Students will:
- Participate in lab visits and become familiar with chemical and biological engineering laboratories, equipment, and facilities.
- Observe demonstrations of a cooling tower and a reverse osmosis (RO) desalination unit.
- Perform material testing to evaluate the properties and performance of engineering materials.
DAY 2 | December 16, 2026 | 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Synthesize Chemical and Biological Engineering Products
Students will :
- Learn about raw materials and processes used to produce chemical and biological engineering products.
- Synthesize products such as soap through batch experiments using natural ingredients.
- Prepare microfluidic devices using 3D bioprinting.
- Visit the AUS Library and learn about its resources and services.
